Our Kindergarten students use the SuperKids Reading Program for their ELA class. We introduce Superkids in PreK-4 and continue it through 2nd grade. Superkids also encorporates social studies in it's curriculum. Superkids program is built on five principles for teaching reading:
1. Motivation is a key factor in children’s success in learning to read.
2. Reading is most effectively taught when integrated with the other language arts.
3. Explicit phonics instruction gives children a reliable way to unlock the written word.
4. Phonetically controlled vocabulary ensures success, enabling children to really read, not guess.
5. An integrated, multimodal approach engages multiples senses, giving children more than one way to understand and practice essential reading and writing skills.

For our Math, our students use Progress in Mathematics by Sadlier. In math, our students are learning about shapes, addition and subtraction, counting (by twos, fives, and tens), time, and money (coins)
We follow the Archdiocesan TEKS for our Science curriculum where they are learning about animals, plants, the seasons, weather, magnets, and natural resources.
We use Word of Life for Religion, and our students are learning about God’s gifts, Bible stories, virtues, and the lives of various saints. We also use Revealed God's Plan for the Human Person for Religion. The students are learning that creation is a gift, that our body is a gift from God, about original solitude, God's family, and that we are a son or daughter of God.
Superkids and Progress in Mathematics have textbooks, workbooks, and online components that tie in with the Promethean Boards in each classroom.
Kindergarten uses Second Step to teach skills for social and academic success. The program covers skills for learning, empathy, emothional management, and problem solving.
